How does stress affect us?


Well in this “modern” life we all live in it seems there is nothing you can do about your stress level. Even though stress is the one huge thing that affects all of us, there isn’t any attention given to it. Truth is stress is the first step to depression, mental complexes, and thousands more of diseases. Stress is a catalyst that accelerates possible problems in your life.

So what are some ways to reduce stress?


1. Reflect (Ways to reduce stress)

When you feel tense and stressed out, take a time to reflect, observe and plan. This easy 5 minute activity is huge in being more relaxed and is fundamental in reducing stress.

If you just take deep breaths in through your nose and through your mouth, you dramatically feel more relaxed. If throughout the day whenever you have time, you do this small step it’ll greatly help to reduce stress.

A big reason why people are so stressed out is that they take things in but never take them out. Learn to express your thoughts and feelings. You can even do this alone, go to the mirror and tell yourself what the problem is. This will bring the problem in perspective and remove that internal stress you carry.

 I know you might think this point doesn’t belong here but it is very important. If you’re healthy you will have more power to face life, without building up stress.
