 I want to be happy

I want to be happy …

I want to be loved …

I want to be satisfied …

These are they type of things people say every single day.

Only problem is they do nothing to achieve these things. You can’t simply say I want to be happy and expect it to happen. To be happy and content you must work for it.

Work and Fight to achieve happiness

Life is a pursuit of happiness. There is no one time trick to be happy rather it’s a lifelong process.

Why do you want more money?

– To buy things that you want

Why do you buy things that you want?

– To give yourself happiness

As you can see in this one model, everything you do in your life is to achieve happiness. Everything is revolving around this one primary thing.

So if at times you don’t feel as content or as happy, remember this is normal and you must continue to pursuit happiness.

This is what life is and you need to understand that to be happy you must apply yourself every moment of your life.

Make happiness the goal

Mentally you have to pursuit happiness directly.

So for example when you pursuit money. You must understand that you are getting money only so you can get happier, not just for the sake of having money.

A lot of people say they want happiness but they seem to never get it. Do you know why? Because they end up are aiming at the wrong things.

For example let’s take the example of money again.

There are millions of people right now who have only one purpose in life to make money. They think if they have enough money they will be happy.

Problem is when they are so focused in getting happiness through money, they get so caught up in the money they can’t recognize happiness. So when they achieve happiness they don’t see it and just aim for more money.

This leads people to feel hopeless, sad and eventually can make them depressed.

So what you should do is keep in perspective that the goal is happiness, not the many things that provide happiness.

No one is in control of your happiness but you; therefore, you have the power to change anything about yourself or your life that you want to change. - Barbara de Angelis

If you want to be happy, go out there and grab it.
