How to truly be Satisfied with your life?

 

Sometimes when life doesn’t go the way you want it to or you have other problems, it gets pretty hard to be appreciative and be satisfied with your life.

Not hundreds, or thousands, but millions of people deal with financial, emotional and physical problems, on a daily basis. After being grinded like a rock day-by-day, to go above all that and still be satisfied and happy with whom you are and what you have is a very tough thing indeed.

The first step to overcome any issues, no matter what they are is to change your way of thinking.

The first step, and you have probably heard it a lot and think “yeah, whatever” but in sense it is the most important step. Think Positive.

If your thoughts remain positive it gives you the strength and commitment to continue, and do the steps required to achieve whatever you wish to achieve. So it’s the background function which you must have.

The second step to being more satisfied with your life is to actually stop thinking so much.

Our minds are amazing machines, but many a times they turn against us. Unknowingly you make connections with everything you do. Your mind compares you to others and this is the most important thing.

“Always look at people lower than you to be thankful, look at people higher than you to set goals and look at the people around you to be satisfied and happy”.

This point shows that look at the people around you, your family your friends and the rest of the support group around you and I guarantee happiness and satisfaction in your life.

The last and final step is to smile more :).

If you follow the steps above, you will already, be a more positive, relaxed and well supported person. You already have the strength to tackle whatever life throws at you. Some people say this step is not needed I completely disagree. This step is the most important step among all 3. Firstly, when you smile you release stress, Secondly, you relax your muscles. And lastly create endorphins which create a happier, positive and obviously healthier you. Smiling will also make people around you like you more, and indirectly make you like yourself.

Making you that much more satisfied with your life.

This is horrible advice I have tried the whole think positive deal I actually mask sadness with smiling it doesn't work. It just pisses u off more because. It isn't working. So don't lie to yourself by "thinking positive" just be you and remember the good moments in your life are only good because of the worst moments. In your life.

Austin I totally understand where you are coming from and to some level I do agree. But technically what you said is the same thing as the article, its simply all about perspective and your outlook to life. Good Luck on Everything!
