Highly successful people are those who don’t just learn from their own mistakes but the mistakes of others. So, to help all bloggers out there I thought I’d make a list of all the common major blogging mistakes I have found consulting bloggers so that you can learn from them and make them right for yourself. I’m flipping this guide on its head. These aren’t 25 tips but 25 things you must NOT do if you want to be a successful blogger in 2019 🙂 I have made many of these mistakes myself 😉 but time and experience has taught me how important the little things can be.

I don’t know how to say this in a nicer way… But I want to be upfront and honest with you. “If your blog titles stink your blog will fail no matter how good your blog content is.” There’s some logic behind this. When a reader searches for a topic on Google, they are given 10 results on the first page that best match their keyword, which is entirely up to Google. (This ranking is based on a complex algorithm, which includes various elements and is the basis for search engine optimization or SEO, which is the process of adjusting your content to improve rankings in SERPs).

Living in a “digital world” creating a blog can be a very rewarding (and lucrative) experience. A blog gives you a medium to share information and ideas with an international audience at your own pace, schedule, and liking. You can write about whatever you want and earn passive income along the way. However simply writing a blog post every once in a while, will not cut it if your goal is to build a large consistent stream of user traffic to your blog. With how competitive the blogging world has become, to get to the top, you must use all the traffic increasing strategies that are available to you. You must be creative and diversify your blog traffic and you must make your blog stand out from the rest.
